Hydroelectric power plant in Rościn

In the initial phase, energy works related to the modernization of the Rościno hydroelectric power plant on the Parsęta River consisted of installing transformers and laying cable lines connecting MV-15kV switchgears with power generators.

In subsequent phases, the following installation was carried out: supervision of the facility, measurement of the produced green energy through fiber-optic connections, heating of the cheek plates and control of the weir flaps.

The last elements of the construction were the connection of lighting, an emergency generator, DC emergency power switchboards and the remaining installation required for maintenance-free operation of the power plant.

An interesting element of the investment is the electrical installation, which is located in a tunnel running under the river bed (adit). It supplies power to six hydraulic units that move the hydraulic shutters.
